Ganda Ham with port-soaked melon


Serves 4 people


Slice the ham in fine shreds. Cut the melon (2 pieces), remove the seeds and use a parisienne scoop to create small melon balls. Remove the rest of the fruit and put it in the blender along with the limejuice and the Port wine. Arrrange the melon scoops, shredded Ganda Ham and the fresh mint leaves in a high glass. Pour over the dressing and leave the dish for at least an hour to acquire optimal mix of the aromas and tastes.


  • 250 g Ganda Ham
  • 2 ripe cavallion melons
  • 50 g fresh mint
  • 1 dl white port
  • 1 lime
